Sometimes, the most meaningful encounters begin unexpectedly.
Mr. Francisco arrived from Spain to visit his mother-in-law in Peru. His original plan was to stay just a few days, but life had other plans: his visit extended for a couple of months — and because of that, we had the privilege of meeting him and sharing moments we’ll always cherish.
One ordinary afternoon, his mobility scooter ran out of battery, and he had no way to get home. That was the moment our paths first crossed. From then on, we accompanied him on several trips, always committed to providing safe, accessible, and human transportation.
Francisco lives with a rare syndrome that has progressively affected his mobility. Yet, he showed us that true strength is not always physical — it’s in the spirit. His calm demeanor, sense of humor, and the way he faces life with dignity taught us an unforgettable lesson.
He was always accompanied by his loving, patient wife and his loyal four-legged friend, his dog, who rode right by his side like a true family member.
Today, Mr. Francisco is back in Spain. But we keep the memory of his visit — and a photograph that captures that moment. From Lima, we send him a warm hug and our best wishes as he continues his medical checkups surrounded by loved ones.
Thank you for trusting us, Francisco. Thank you for teaching us that even when life puts obstacles in our path, they can all be overcome… when we travel together.
